Well, it was a really nice stay for a business trip or a romantic get away. The location was amazing and charming, so close to the beautiful Avon and the garden under the trees.

We had savoury and tasty breakfasts with gluten free food and excellent scrambled egg, for example. The location of the hotel was riverside, so close to the canal charming, the garden at the rear and the restaurant at 8.10pm. Also, it was 5 min drive from Avington Village.

The river view from our room was fine, and we loved the delicious food at the pub. We spent a day exploring the nearby canal and enjoyed a lovely hike in the countryside. Just a heads up, parking can be tricky, as there's no reserved space for hotel guests, so arrive early.
On my arrival, I was not offered a quick bite before check-in, especially after a long drive.

The view from our river-facing room was gorgeous, and I enjoyed relaxing on the private patio. The room felt spacious and the bed was comfortable. I loved the delicious breakfast, especially the sausages, cooked perfectly. Staff were great. I noticed the shower had low water pressure, made bathing less refreshing. Some areas of the room could have been cleaner. I found a few bits of dust and the shower mat could use replacing to avoid slipping. The bar area felt quite basic and lacked comfortable seating. Despite these issues, the good food and nice ambiance kept the experience pleasant.

The room was gorgeous with a lovely outdoor area right by the canal. We totally loved the food n the pints! Breakfast was also a highlight, especially the sausages. Definitely wanna come back in the summer!
only thing was some bits in the room needed a clean, and the shower could use a better mat, almost slipped!

I had a lovely time enjoying the peaceful garden and sipping good quality coffee in my room. The terrace by the canal was perfect for relaxation, and I really appreciated the nice toiletries provided. It would've been great to have a cozier lounge area to hang out in, but overall, it was a relaxing stay! 😊
